ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

The morning sun floods into the living area of this lovely cottage which overlooks a garden and terrace. There are three bedrooms - one double downstairs, one double upstairs and one twin room upstairs. The kitchen opens up into the attractive sitting/dining room which has a wood burning stove to brighten up chilly evenings. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.

Le Jardin has been designed to allow accessibility for general wheelchair users downstairs only. We have tried to intergrate hard surfaces with plenty of open space on one level without losing the charm of the 17th century stone building. There are 80cm doorways and the shower has a flush shower gulley (so no shower tray to negotiate). Special requirements such as grab rails are not available. A 1.8m x 1.5m European standard w.c. is NOT available but we have a 1.28m x 2.48m shower/wc room.

The link through at ground level to Le Nid de la Huppe is a 1.12 ramp for use when Le Jardin and Le Nid are joined to make a six bedroom cottage. This allows access to the ground floor of Le Nid which is a large open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room.

Swimming pool: the pool is surrounded by cedar decking with conventional steps into the single level (1.2m deep) pool. The water surface is approximately 15cms from the edging.

Elsewhere: meadow grass surrounds the lake which in places is inaccessible. In front of the row of cottages is a large gravelled area where people play boule and park.

CHANGEOVER NOTES:

Saturday is change over day, but we are more than happy to change this day out of high season to suit your travel arrangements.

LINEN NOTES:

Linen can be provided and costs £7 per single bed per week and £10 per double bed per week.

BABY FACILITY:

High chair and cot available with prior arrangement

BOOKING NOTES:
