ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

All the accommodation at Le Clozet has been finished to the highest standard, offering modern facilities whilst retaining many original features such as beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. For your stay we have two three bedroomed gites plus five ensuite bedrooms.

Guests can relax around our large 12m x 6m swimming pool taking in the magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside whilst sipping a cool drink from our honesty bar. On a clear day guests can also see the spectacular mountains of the Pyrenees, only a two hour drive away.
Our grounds have many mature oak and walnut trees offering welcoming shade from the Gascon sun. The Gers benefits from nine months of sunshine each year. For food and wine lovers the Gers is a gastronomic heaven, famous for Foie Gras, Confit and Magret de Canard, Armagnac, Floc, Buzet and Madiran wines. For walkers, the pilgrim route of St James of Compostella passes nearby. The thermal spa towns of Lectoure and Castera Verduzan are a short drive away should you wish to pamper yourself with a massage, sauna, jacuzzi etc. For those who enjoy a flutter, Castera Verduzan also has a Casino.


In order to explore the rolling countryside guests have free use of a number of bicycles

POOL:

Fully enclosed 12m x 6m swimming pool with magnificent views. Pool house with honesty bar for drinks and ice creams. On a clear day guests can also see the spectacular mountains of the Pyrenees, only a two hour drive away. Play equipment for children, table tennis, fitness area, bicycles.

PATIO:

Private terrace in front of gite with loungers, table and chairs, barbecue.

GARDEN:

Our property is in a 1.5 acre park with lawns and many mature oak and walnut trees. Ample room to be private and shade from the sun.

PARKING:

Secure parking within our property.

KITCHEN:

Well equipped modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, full size oven and ceramic hob.

DINING AREA:

the dining area looks out onto the terrace and has a large table which sits 6-8 people.

LIVING/LOUNGE AREA:

The living area has 2 three seater sofas, a coffee tabel, TV and DVD player.

BEDROOMS:

Three bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom or shower room. Two double bedrooms and one twin bed.

GAMES ROOM:

There is an outside covered games area with table tennis, children’s toys and a selection of exercise machines. Board games and books also available for the rare occasions when the weather is inclement.

CLEANING INFORMATION:

Guests should leave the gite in the condition found on arrival. Alternatively we can provide a full cleaning service for 100 euros.

CHANGEOVER NOTES:

Change over normally Saturday. Other days can be accommodated if required to coincide with airline timetables.

LINEN NOTES:

All linen provided except pool towels

PET NOTES:

We do not accept pets.

BABY FACILITY:

We are child friendly and can make available cots and high chairs. We can also offer an optional 4 course evening dinner with aperitif and wine for those evenings when you do not feel like cooking.

ACTIVITY EQUIPMENT:

There is an outside covered games area with table tennis, children’s toys and a selection of exercise machines. Board games and books also available for the rare occasions when the weather is inclement.

LOCAL AMENITIES/ATTRACTIONS:

Le Clozet, situated between Agen and Condom, is well placed for visiting the many medieval towns and villages of Gascony. Fources is especially worth visiting as it is the only round bastide of the region. For guests with young families or the young at heart there is the Walibi fun park at Agen or the water park at Condom, as well as horse-riding, boating, karting, golf and tennis within easy reach.

BOOKING NOTES:

A 30% deposit is required on booking with balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A €500 security deposit is payable on all lets and refunded 2 weeks after leaving date.

BATHROOM/ENSUITE:

All bedrooms have either en-suite shower or bathroom. All linen is provided.
