ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe.
In Vera Coast urbanisation there are two large open-air swimming pools both with lifeguard, one of which has food and sports facilities such as water aerobics and a children’s club, while the other is more for relaxation, both are surrounded by gardens.
There is also an indoor heated pool (ideal for the early morning swim) and for the winter months a heated Jacuzzi/spa. For fitness during your stay, there’s a private gymnasium and tennis courts - (there is a small charge for the use of the indoor facilities).
The local beaches are beautiful, sandy, clean and award-winning the nearest located at only 300m from the apartment. The area is a designated nature reserve and is never overcrowded.
There is a golf course 5 minutes drive.Valle del Este Full Championship 18 hole golf course with driving range/putting and teaching facilities. Other courses nearby, Desert Springs (18 holes-Europe's only desert course), Marina Del Tore in Mojacar (18 holes) and Sierra Cabrera (9 hole country course).
Situated nearby is a new Aqua park, with water shoots, slides, and pools. You can also drive to the western park where you can take in the cowboy shows or even be a cowboy for a day with your own horse.
The typically Spanish fishing town of Garrucha has an abundance of superb sea-food restaurants and tapas bars to treat your taste buds and is only a couple of minutes away.. The lovely towns of Vera and Mojacar that are steeped in history are only a 10 minute drive .
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
