Les Prinquieres is a collection of 19th century farmbuildings, which have been converted to create 4 luxurious one bedroom self contained gîtes. Set in our own 8 acres of tranquil countryside, yet still very close to all the major tourist attractions and activities in the region. We are situated between the busy market town of Gourdon and Sarlat-Le-Canadia, and only 5km from the Dordogne river.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

Les Prinquieres is a collection of 19th century farmbuildings, which have been converted to create 4 luxurious one bedroom self contained gîtes. Set in our own 8 acres of tranquil countryside, yet still very close to all the major tourist attractions and activities in the region. We are situated between the busy market town of Gourdon and Sarlat-Le-Canadia, and only 5km from the Dordogne river.
We have a 10x5 metre floodlit pool with terraces to lounge in the summer sun, a pool house with fridge and a covered dining area complete with traditional barbeque. Plenty of sun beds, chairs and parasols are provided for your comfort. Weekly barbeque's are organised by the pool, with wine and salad provided for any guests wishing to join in.
In the shade of the trees, there is a traditional Boules court with lighting to play in the long summer evenings, whilst badminton and table tennis are also available, all equipment is provided along with a selection of board games all stored in the pool house.

La Châtaigne,is part of an ancient stone barn which has been restored and converted to form 3 individual gîtes. It is a marriage of old and modern, retaining many beams and stone walls, whilst having the luxury of modern showers and kitchens.
La Châtaigne, which sleeps 2 people, has a fully fitted kitchen complete with washing machine, dishwasher, full cooker, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished with a dining table and chairs, settee, bookcase, armchair and small table,there is a radio/cassette/CD player and a small selection of books. For low season and winter rentals there is a wood burning fire. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to a spacious double bedroom, fully carpeted and furnished with a solid pine double bed, wardrobe, bedside chest, and ample drawer space, pretty bed linen is provided and changed weekly. The en-suite has a shower cubicle, vanity unit and W.C. Doors from the lounge/dinerlead out to your own patio area, which is at the rear of La Châtaigne complete with table and chairs and a gas BBQ. The patio looks out onto a large grassed area which leads down into our own woodland, whilst the front of the property overlooks a meadow and farmland.

POOL:

The pool is fitted with an alarm that conforms to French Government Safety Regulations

PATIO:

Each gîte has it's own furnished patio

PARKING:

There is a car park within the grounds

GAMES ROOM:

Board games are available and stored in the pool house

CHANGEOVER NOTES:

Change over day is saturday or wednesday.

Clients are required to vacate the accommodation on departure day by 10.00am.

The gîtes will not be ready for arriving clients until 16.00

LINEN NOTES:

Bed linen is provided and changed weekly.
Towels can be provided please ask

PET NOTES:

No pets allowed

BABY FACILITY:

A cot with bedding can be provided along with a highchair and a stairgate

ACTIVITY EQUIPMENT:

There is a Boules court, badminton and table tennis, all equipment is provided
