A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

Plum Tree has an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, ideal for holidays as no one gets left out.
The kitchen area has a full size gas cooker, fridge, washing machine and a microwave. A back door leads to the covered veranda and the pool area.
The living / dining area has a stone and oak fireplace with a wood burner. There are some feature granite walls, exposed oak beams and a country style suite seating four. There is a CTV, DVD player, a Hifi, books & games.
The dining area has seating for four.

Bedroom 1: A large double bedroom with views over the front garden and fields. There are granite walls exposed oak beams and heating for the cooler months
Bedroom 2: A bedroom with adult size bunk beds. There are granite walls exposed oak beams and heating for the cooler months
Shower room: With shower, toilet and sink, a heated towel rail, granite walls and exposed oak beams.

There is a private patio area with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ.

Whilst we consider our accommodation to be child friendly, good parental supervision should be shown at all times.

Although we are in a quiet location, we are only
5 mins away from the village centre with its bar-tabac-restaurant-shop.
And only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its, shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel, Water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Château's, and numerous places of interest.

We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, that romantic getaway or that family holiday, group bookings are also available if all 4 cottages are booked.
There really is something for everyone in Brittany.

The Gardens:

La Basse Rouerie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts.
It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
There is a private patio area for all 4 gites which includes garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ.
Plus there is a communal patio area with a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.

The above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. It is heated and maintained at around 30-32 degrees. The pool is open from May - September.

The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.

There is a 14ft trampolinr with security nets, badminton net, swings, boules pit, swing ball and basketball net in the gardens, along with numerous games.
In the covered veranda area there is table tennis, table soccer and a darts board.
The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.

Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside.

PATIO:

There is a private patio area with garden furniture, sun canopy and BBQ plus a communal patio and pool area. This is an ideal place to make new friends.

GARDEN:

We now have a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, which all the family enjoy.

Rental weeks are from 4 pm Saturday to 10 am Saturday at peak times. Weekend breaks available off peak.

BOOKING NOTES:

Prices:

A £100 (145€) deposit is required to secure your booking. A Booking Form with Terms and Conditions is available on request.
The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the £150(220€) security deposit.
A £150 (220€) security deposit is required per cottage, this will be refunded to you after you leave providing it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages.
If the cottage has not been left in a reasonable condition then £50 (75€) will be deducted to cover costs.
