POOL:
The complex has 4 communal pools with a small childrens pool and are set in lovely landscaped gardens.
Each of the pools have seperate toilet facilities.
PATIO:
Terrace – The terrace is very large (61m2), it is south facing and enjoys sun all day! and has a wonderful panoramic sea view along with peaceful hill views. It is equipped with sun beds and drinks table, a large dining table with 6 chairs and a large parasol, and a lovely terrace suite where you can sit and relax with a long cold drink in the early evening as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean and the coast of Africa! For those of you who like to eat al fresco, there is even a large built in BBQ on the terrace allowing you to cook al fresco too!
PARKING:
The Penthouse has an allocated underground parking space which is accessed via remote controlled garage gates.
KITCHEN:
Kitchen – The modern kitchen is fully equipped for your catering needs and there is ample crockery and cutlery for 8 people and plenty of cooking utensils. It has a large fridge freezer, electric hob, extractor fan and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is a patio door leading on to a small terrace where you will find further storage space within a large outside store cupboard and a good area for drying clothes on the clothes airers. There is also an iron and ironing board.
DINING AREA:
Dining area – The furniture matches that of the lounge being in beech with granite inlay and is laid out beneath a lovely feature rustic dome, with contemporary lighting. The table seats 6 and there is a further sideboard in this area. Patio doors and dome windows give way to peaceful hill views and again the large terrace can be accessed from the dining area.
This room has full air conditioning and heat.
LIVING/LOUNGE AREA:
Lounge area – The modern living room is furnished with 2 large, 3 seater cream leather sofas (one being a sofa bed), coffee and side table in beech with a granite inlay with matching sideboard and modern lighting. It is equipped with satellite TV (many English channels including your favourites!) and a DVD player with a large assortment of family films and a small selection of table games.
There is a large patio window to further enhance your enjoyment of the panoramic sea view and doors leading directly out on to the large terrace.
This room has full air conditioning and heat.
BEDROOMS:
Master bedroom – has a double bed, which faces large patio windows whereby you can sit in bed and enjoy again the sea view in privacy and from this room you can also access the large terrace. It has plenty of storage space provided in a good range of fitted wardrobes. It also has a lovely en suite bathroom finished in high quality cream marble with twin sinks, toilet, bidet and bath with shower over.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 – have 2 single beds each (bedroom 2 also enjoys a panoramic sea view) and both again have plenty of storage space within good fitted wardrobes.
All bedrooms have full air conditioning and heat.
CLEANING INFORMATION:
The apartment is fully cleaned for your arrival and is fully cleaned when you leave. Should you wish an additional mid stay clean this will be at an additional cost.

CHANGEOVER NOTES:
Changeover days are currently flexible so a new booking may start on the same day as one finishes.
This means that clients must vacate the property by 10am on their last day and new arrivals may come in at 5pm onwards on that same day.

LINEN NOTES:
Fresh, clean bed linen is made up on your arrival and each guest will have 1 fresh bath towel and hand towel each. We do not provide beach towels and ask that you please bring your own.

LOCAL AMENITIES/ATTRACTIONS:
Further Details
Our apartment is on a secure, remote controlled, gated complex with 4 pools, and separate small children’s pool set within lovely landscaped gardens. There is private underground parking accessed through secure, remote controlled gates with a lift to take you directly up to the apartment, making it user friendly for young families, the elderly and disabled. Access can also be gained from a front entrance via an intercom system. Within a few minutes walk of the complex you will find a mini-market and bar/restaurants all of which we can highly recommend. Walking a little further on (3 minute drive) will bring you to the ‘Strip’ well known in Calahonda for its wide choice of restaurants, which cater for literally all tastes, including Swiss! Around the corner from the Strip is the El Zoco Centre where you will find a further choice of wonderful restaurants set in a lovely pedestranised area. In addition you will find gift shops, banks, newsagents, pharmacy etc and a large supermarket which will cater for all your needs. Opposite the El Zoco, just across the coastal road, there is the Dona Lola Complex where yet again you will find a further choice of good bars and restaurants to choose from.
Where are we?
Calahonda is midway between Marbella and Fuengirola (10 minutes each way) and our apartment can be reached by a very easy drive in just 25 minutes from Malaga airport.
The heart of Calahonda with its abundance of fantastic restaurants, 3 large supermarkets, banks, shops etc is only a 3 minute drive from our apartment.
The nearest beach at Calahonda is only 2km away although we personally prefer the beaches at Cabopino and La Cala, both are only a 5 minute drive along the N340 coastal road of Calahonda (in opposite directions).
Both boast lovely clean sandy beaches with beach bars and water sports and have easy parking.
Cabopino is one of the best beaches on this coast and also has a very pretty marina with a good choice of wonderful restaurants, we can highly recommend Albert’s for a special night out!
La Cala is is a typical Spanish resort and has many good restaurants hidden amongst its back streets.
3 minutes along the N340 from Calahonda, in the same direction of La Cala, is an area known as the Riviera Del Sol, here you will also find another beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
For family days out Mijas water park can be reached in just a 10 minute drive from our apartment and in under 15 minutes you can access Tivoli World, Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Marine Park, Crocodile Park, Sea Life Centre, Garden of Eagles and the Teleferico cable cars of Benalmadena.
Golf can be found in abundance from our apartment with the nearest one of La Siesta being only 2 minutes away! And just 15 minutes away is the largest golf complex in all of Spain at the La Cala Golf Resort, it also boasts 3 of the best courses on this coast. Within a 15 minute drive you can access between 15 – 20 excellent courses and within 40 minutes you are looking at 40+ courses including World Class Championship courses.
Tennis enthusiasts will not be disappointed as in just under 2 minutes from the apartment you are at the Costa Del Sol Tennis Club with its many courts and paddle tennis set in lovely landscaped gardens. You can also indulge in their gym, squash courts and sauna if so desired and you can pay to use the facilities as a non-member.
BOOKING NOTES:
Prices for our apartment are per week and include a meet and greet service, linen, towels (not beach towels, please bring your own), Air conditioning, reasonable electricity costs and final cleaning. Should you require a mid stay clean this will be at an additional cost.
We require a 20% non- refundable deposit upon booking and the balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
In addition to the balance, a £200 refundable deposit against breakages/damage or lost keys is also required at this time, which will be refunded once the apartment has been checked following your departure.
