The lovely cottage "Casa do Moinho" (4 pers.)is situated in seaside resort São Martinho do Porto, which has a famous, naturally formed bay, about 56 miles north of Lisbon.The detached cottage offers a lot of privacy and enjoys a peaceful setting with lovely views of the surrounding countryside; green coastal dunes and rocks, and an old wind mill. Ideally located only a few hundred yards from the magnificent and quiet sandy beach "Praia da Gralha"and also just a few minutes walk from São Martinho do Porto Boulevard and the more crowded bay and its beaches

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

The cottage is situated on a quiet (dead-end) road to the lovely beach "Praia da Gralha" (just 500yards). There are two entrances to the house. In front you´ll find the stairs, and there is also a private lane for your car and side entrance to the cottage.
The cottage is detached and had a varanda with a nice view over the lawn with palm trees. There is also a spacious terrace with a wide view and a small patio with a bbq.

The cottage:
- varanda
- kitchen; equipped with cooking place (gas), oven, fridge, coffee machine, pans, knives, forks, spoons, kitchen utensils etc. In the kitchen you´ll also find the washing machine, free for you to use.
- living room with fire place; sat tv (incl. BBCWorld and CCN). Entrance to varanda.
- 2 bedrooms; one room with masterbed, one room with two separate beds.
- bathroom; with small bath, toilet, sink.

São Martinho do Porto is a nice and intimate resort, without mass tourism. In the area are many places of interest. São Martinho do Porto is located in the cultural centre of Portugal. You can visit the medieval Óbidos (monumental status), the monasteries of Alcobaça en Batalha, the castle of Leiria, or small villages like Nazaré en Peniche, nature park/mountains "Serras de Aire en Candeeiros" with its caves, visit Santuary of Fátima or just enjoy the natural beauty of the local landscape. So, whether you like nature, culture or beach, you´ll love São Martinho do Porto.
