Villa in south-west France, sleeps up to 10, in the countryside

The Villa is for rent from Mayuntill October and will sleep 8-10 persons.
There are several terraces, a large garden and an orchard with playing area for the children.
There are lounge chairs, a picnic table and hammocks at your disposal.

The countryside is rural with a lot of woods and hilly. There are lakes for fishing or swimming and close by is the river le Vézère. Medieval towns such as Ségur-le-Chateau, Collanges-la-Rouge or Rocamadour, shopping in Brive, Limoges or Périgueux.

The Correze is a very pleasant and undiscovered part of France.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

The Villa is for rent from mai untill oct. and will sleep 8-10 persons.
There are several terraces, a large garden and an orchard with playing area for the children.
There are lounge chairs, a picknick table and hammocks at your disposal.
On request we can prepare a 4-course dinner and the guests in the cottages can join us for breakfast.

On the groundfloor the villa has it's fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, the living room with two couches, a large table, tv, dvd, stereo, fireplace and french doors leading to the terrace.
Furthermore a bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with bath ensuite and a toilet.
On the first floor you will find the Sunny room with a double bed, a couch and balcony with a great view.
The second room with two single beds.
The Chartreuse room with two single beds and washbasin.
The second bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.

All our beds have a length of 2 meters, a cot is available on request.
In the basement is a washing machine available to you.

Outside you can find several terraces and another large dining table. Also a small circular pool (3 meters) with a depth of app. a meter.

The countryside is rural with a lot of woods and hilly. There are lakes for fishing or swimming and close by is the river le Vézère. Medieval towns such as Ségur-le-Chateau, Collanges-la-Rouge or Rocamadour, shopping in Brive,
Limoges or Périgueux.
The Correze is a very pleasant and undiscovered part of France. We have all the touristic info available for you to help you to get to know the region.

What shall we do today ? You can take a walk in the woods next to our house, ride a bike, go canooing on the Vézère, fish, swim in a lake or the river, go horseriding, take a balloontrip out of Pompadour or just relax in the orchard.
There are caves to visit, near Limoges is a great and childfriendly zoo, or visit a castle, a garden,a town or city etc.
In the months of july and august we can recommend a visit to one of the local eating markets. Here you can buy local produce and take place at one of the long tables to eat it. There are barbecues and live music, every monday to friday.

This area, on the border of the Dordogne and the Correze, is known for it's good food.
There are several good restaurants in Pompadour, Uzerche or Objat. Some local dishes are :
salads, foie gras, confit d'oie, stuffed mushrooms, cherryclafoutis etc.
And let's not forget the steaks from the renowned Limousin cattle !
