Located on the south coast, in a magnificent setting on the cliffs above a large deep beach, on the east side of a long inlet, the resort offers something for everyone. Easily accessible by both car and bus, the beach has a large expanse of sand and safe bathing.
For the sight-seeing enthusiast, pay a visit to the most unusual setting in the resort - The Coves of Xoroi. - these natural caves offer stunning views out to sea. There is a bar here to sit and take in the views in the daytime and the famous disco takes over in the night.
In the centre there is a reasonable selection of restaurants, shops and bars and from here you will find the road down to the beach or further along the view point overlooking the bay next to the 191 steps. The steps are very steep (and can become busy during July and August) going down the side of the cliff, which although a direct route is best left to the more energetic. For those not so able, there is a small electric train that travels to and from the beach via the centre of the resort.
