Gumusluk
About 20 minutes by car from Bodrum, Gumusluk is one of the oldest settlements on the peninsula and is best known for its fish and seafood restaurants, and glorious sunsets. Situated on the grounds of an ancient city, know as Myndos, Gumusluk lies in a conservation area.
Most of the village is designated an official archaeological site, and as a result is protected against major developments. There are also tight restrictions on the playing of loud music in local bars and restaurants and cars are prohibited.
