Three miles from Tenby, the picturesque harbour of Saundersfoot has been attracting visitors for centuries. With easy access to the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire, Saundersfoot offers large sandy beaches so it is easy to relax, enjoy water sports or fishing. Sailing, windsurfing and golf are all available locally. Surrounded by pretty countryside Saundersfoot is an ideal base for walkers who visit the area for Pembrokeshire's renowned coastal path walks.

Superbly located for access to Tenby and St. David’s for day trips, the pretty village of Saundersfoot is very popular with families. The countryside and scenery is fabulous and the shopping and recreational facilities superb. Boat trips are run from the harbour for fishing and viewing the marine wildlife and coastline and the summer months offer lots of activity and nightlife.

There is disabled access to the beach, with disabled toilet facilities nearby.
Dog owners taking a pet on holiday should be aware that restrictions are enforced which restrict pet access to the beach between 1 May and 30 September.
Saundersfoot used to be a small fishing village and some shipbuilding was undertaken here. In the 1800's Saundersfoot became very popular with the black gold rush when high quality anthracite was found locally. The harbour was built originally for the export of local coal and anthracite.

The fish market is a must to visit as is the local butcher who has won many awards for the most succulent Welsh lamb that you will ever sample.

The train station is situated up The Ridgeway from the harbourside tourist office. There are plenty of places to eat for all tastes and budgets.
