CTR (Click Through Rate)
Frequency of click-throughs as a percentage of impressions served. This term normally refers to advertisement impressions. But it can be applied to measure any clicks made by a user on your website.
Domain names
A domain name is simply the registration of a sequence of characters prefixed with 'www' and followed by a suffix such as '.co.uk'. The suffix characters, which are termed the domain, are controlled by various registrars. The 'co.uk' is the normal domain to use for UK businesses. However, there is no problem with using '.com', '.info' etc as a domain for your business. The only limitation is that somebody might have got there first! Because the '.com' domain originated as a commercial description within the USA, it is harder to find available domain names.
Organic Search Results
The "natural" search results that usually appear in the main body of the page returned by a search engine. See also "Spider", "Algorithm" and "SEO".
