The Vendée benefits from its own microclimate, with more hours of sunshine than much of the rest of France.

Fontenay Le Comte is only 10 km drive, with all the advantages of the large town, which used to be the capital of the Vendee.
Ideally situated in the Southern Vendée, St Malo port (3 hours) La Rochelle Airport (45 mins) and Poiters Airport (1 hr) drive away.
