About the property

Eco tourism:- We care for the environment and provide recycling facilities.
Heating:- All rooms have electric convector heaters. Living rooms have a wood burning stove,with a complimentary basket of logs. There is a well stocked logstore in an old railway wagon outside, and extra wood is paid for on your departure. Electricity is free in Loveston and Long Barn. In The Old Farmhouse and Landsker House it is free during summer months of June-August and paid at cost on day of departure during rest of year.
Pets:- Pets are welcome and there is good walking around us. There is a charge of £10 for a dog and it must be up to date with flea and worming treatments. Pets are not allowed on furniture or to be left alone in the cottage and must be kept on a lead in all communal areas.
Babies:- We can provide cot and highchair, as well as arrange baby sitting.
Smoking:- We have a no-smoking policy inside the buildings out of respect for future guests.
Car parking:- There is ample parking ( including space for boats, trailers etc) located away from the buildings and The Old Farmhouse has its' own driveway and parking.
Bedding:- We supply all bed linen. Please bring your own towels and tea towels etc unless it should prove impractical due, for example to air travel.
Gardens:- Each cottage has its own enclosed garden, which is equiped with furniture and BBQ.
Shopping:- The farm above us has its own shop, with perhaps the best meat in Pembrokeshire together with local produce and general groceries. The vibrant market town of Narberth is 10 minutes drive away, with interesting craft and food shops as well as a busy arts centre, whilst there are large supermarkets in Tenby, Pembroke Dock and Kilgetty.
Arrivals and Departures:- Landsker House, Long Barn and Loveston Barn are Saturday bookings, The Old Farmhouse is a Friday booking. We can be flexible out of season. You are welcome to arrive any time after 3pm. Departure time is 10am.
Road Directions
Take the A40 west from Carmarthen, and turn left onto the A4075 at Canaston Bridge.
After 4 miles you come to Yerbeston crossroads with the Farm Shop on the right. Carry on another 200metres and we are on the left.
There is a lay-by and our hanging sign on the telephone pole to guide you.
Note: To help in the dark we have put red reflective triangles on the telephone pole next to the gate.

The Playground is located behind the cottages, away from any cars and surrounded by fields.
The play area has a slide, sandpit, hill fort, and swings as well as an area for badminton, volleyball., croquet or just letting off steam. There is also a field at the front with goalposts for footballers.
The games room has pool and table tennis tables together with storage for croquet and badminton equipment.
There are board games, puzzles, dartboard and large boxes of Duplo and bricks, together with a wood burning stove for a rainy day.

Beaches
All the sandy beaches of South Pembrokeshire are within 30 minutes drive from us. Some of our favourites are Tenby, Broadhaven South, Barafundle and Freshwater East and West.The more rugged North and Western coastline, also with some fabulous beaches such as Newgale, Marloes and Whitesands at St Davids are 40 – 50 minutes away and well worth discovering.
Walking
We have a booklet in each cottage with mapped walks for exploring the coastal path and countrysude. This includes the Landsker trail that runs directly below us, and the unspoilt estuary and woodland paths close by.

Three miles south, the Carew Inn has good home cooking, or for a special meal enjoy the Plantagenet restaurant in Tenby. Blackpool mill is a lovely setting for afternoon tea, and visit our local at Cresswell Quay- generally held to be the best pub in Pembrokeshire, cosy and friendly with an open fire in the winter and bursting with activity in the summer evenings.
Tenby is the place for lively nightclubs, bars and cafes. The Torch Theatre in Milford Haven www.torchtheatre.co.uk and the Queens Hall in Narberth www.thequeenshall.com are lively drama and music venues.

Price Guide 2006
The Old Farmhouse is a Friday booking and the other cottages are Saturday (days vary for 4night breaks).
For full weeks outside the school holiday periods, we operate a special small party discount (6 people or less) for The Old Farmhouse of £40.
A deposit of 30% (or minimum of £50) to be paid at time of booking and the balance to be sent 2 months before the holiday. If you have to cancel the holiday, we will make every effort to re-let and, if successful, will refund your money up to the value of the replacement booking.
