Cherry Tree is one of four stone cottages that have been restored to provide
modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse.
Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams.
A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
Nearby attractions are Mont Saint Michel, water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, and numerous places of interest, something for everyone.

Cherry Tree Cottage: (sleeps 6)
The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge/ kitchen /dining area, designed so the whole family can join in with the holiday.
It is a bright sunny room with 3 large picture windows, exposed oak beams, it also has a log burner in the lounge area. This is a comfortable, well equipped cottage for 6 people.
The 1st floor has a shower room and 3 bedrooms, 2 double rooms and
a room with bunk beds all have granite walls and exposed oak beams.
There is a separate patio at the side of the gîte, with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ, this leads to the shared pool and patio area.
The Gardens:
La Basse Rouerie is a traditional stone Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts.
It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
There is a private patio area for all 4 cottages which include garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ.
Plus there is a communal patio area with a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.
The above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. It is heated and maintained at around 30-32 degrees. The pool is open from May - September.
The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.
There is a badminton net, swings, boules pit, swing ball, football net, and basketball net in the gardens, along with numerous games.
In the covered veranda area there is table soccer and a darts board.
The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.
Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside.

There is a private patio area with garden furniture, sun canopy and BBQ as well as the communal patio & pool area. This is a good place to meet at the end of the day and relax with a drink.

We now have a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, which all the family enjoy.

Helpful Information:
Rental weeks are from 4 pm Saturday to 10 am Saturday at peak times. Weekend breaks avaiable off peak.

Booking Notes
Prices:
A £100 (145€) deposit is required to secure your booking. A Booking Form with Terms and Conditions is available on request.
The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the £150(220€) security deposit.
A £150 (220€) security deposit is required per cottage, this will be refunded to you after you leave providing it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages.
If the cottage has not been left in a reasonable condition then £50 (75€) will be deducted to cover costs.
