This beautiful completely refurbished 1 bedroomed ground floor apartment is situated in the heart of a wonderful, well maintained, Andalusian style complex, and is surrounded by many tropical plants & flowers. Royal Palm is in a slightly elevated position and is situated about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Los Cristianos. Many of the apartments are 'home' to people who have decided to live in Tenerife.
The apartment overlooks the kidney shaped pool, which is heated during the winter months. There are areas to sunbath with free sun beds & umbrellas

About the property
There are two freeform swimming pools and one small childrens' pool on the complex.
There are many restaurants surrounding the complex, giving you the choice of not only Spanish but Chinese, Mexican, American and Italian cuisine, to name but a few, and all within a two minute walk from our apartment. However, a gentle stroll into the town will give you hundreds more to choose from.
There are several supermarkets just outside the complex to enable you to stock up on essentials. You will also find Car hire shops, places where you will be able to book trips, pick up points, money exchange, cash point machine and a taxi rank, Taxis are plentiful and cheap. There is also a handy cash machine just outside the complex!
Next door is the very popular RCI Gold Crown Group comprising of the 'Beverly Hills', 'Hollywood Height' and the 'Hollywood Mirage' complexes. Within these there are restaurants and bars, offering various 'happy hour' incentives. The 'La Show Bar' (used to be called the 'Crazy Horse' Saloon), situated in the Beverly Hills complex offers early evening childrens' discos followed by entertainment until midnight.
Also there is an indoor fully equipped gym and sports facilities such as floodlit Tennis Courts which are available for use*. Just opposite, is a four star hotel, The Paradise Park, also offering a childrens' disco as well as evening cabaret entertainment.

Mexican cuisine at Rosie's Cantina Restaurant which is open from 6pm until midnight and offers 'Happy Hour' with reduced priced drinks (times may vary)
There are several local shops selling newspapers, postcards, trips, money exchange, car hire as well as an office on-site
A lifeguard watches the pools during the day and there are security patrols at night
Public telephone boxes directly opposite and inside the complex. The Apartment also has a telephone which can be used to call other apartments on the complex. Alternatively, for a small deposit, the owners' office will 'switch it on' to enable you to contact the outside world! There is satellite TV installed in the complex with a TV in the apartment - so there's no reason to be out of touch with what's going on - unless you want to be!
All in all, the Royal Palm is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your holiday!
Changeover Notes
We do NOT have a fixed changeover day - As may airlines fly to Tenerife on a daily basis we are happy to try and accommodate guests enabling them to get the best deal from the airlines! Many guests chose to stay for irregular lengths of time, and again we are happy to try and accommodate!
Local Amenities & Attractions
Our apartment is located on the Southern coast at the resort of Los Cristianos. Los Cristianos is an ideal family resort situated in a sheltered bay. Many years ago Los Cristianos was a small fishing village, and we have watched the small town grow into a colourful, flourishing family resort, accommodating its many visitors, while still managing to retain its old world charm.
At the heart of the old town centre there is a magnificent church and square, a popular meeting place for locals and holidaymakers alike. Leading from this are a number of streets, the enthusiastic shopper is well catered for here with outstanding selection of gift shops and markets. There are also local and international restaurants and bars, to cater for every purse and palate, with excellent facilities for pushchairs and wheelchair users in its mainly pedestrianised streets.
Along the front, you'll find plenty for you and your family to see and do, including a sandy play area, trampolining and small merry-go-round type rides.
Hair braiding and temporary tatooing along with local portrait artists as well as colourful 'local entrepreneurs' selling watches, 'gold & silver' jewellery, 'designer' sunglasses and hats complete the promenade walk!
The town has a volcanic sandy beach which is clean and safe for children, however, a new coastal walkway leading through to its neighbouring resort, Playa de las Americas, has a much wider beach with finer sand.
Los Cristianos also has a very comprehensive bus station with buses regularly departing for the Capital, Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz, in the North of the Island and Los Gigantes on the western coast. There are also many free buses to local resorts and attractions.
Many boat trips can be taken from Los Cristianos, there are whales and dolphins to be seen, the hydrofoil and cruises to other Canary Islands originate here, as well as trips to its nearest Island, La Gomera, which is just approximately 75 minutes away. This extremely picturesque island is still unspoilt and has many unusual plants and beautiful flowers growing there.
If you are interested in a holiday with discos and nightclubs this can be found in the neighbouring resort of Playa de las Americas approximately 10 minutes away by taxi.
Booking Notes
The price is based on two sharing per week. Additional guests (up to three additional people) are charged at JUST £20 per person PER WEEK. This is to cover the extra linen, towels and usage charges.
