The studio apartment we are advertising to rent is on the second floor and has one of the best views in the whole complex overlooking the pool with an unobstructed view of the black sea.

1) What is the apartment like?
The studio is tastefully furnished in classic contemporary style. It consists of a large living/sleeping area, kitchenette, balcony and bathroom. The studio is supplied with modern and high quality facilities: adjustable air-conditioning/heating system, cable TV, telephone and internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped - oven and hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster , juicer, crockery & cutlery etc.
It has been awarded a four star rating from Best Western Hotels and is currently featured in their summer brochure.
2) Where about is the beach?
There is a small, secluded beach 50m away accessible via a pathway at the foot of the resort.
The main St Vlas beach is a s five minute stroll away.
3) How do I get about?
All areas in St Vlas are easily reached by foot. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the resort to Sunny Beach and Nessebur for a same charge. A timetable for the shuttle bus is available at reception. Alternatively, Sunny Beach and Nessebur can be reached by local bus or taxi. We have a number of preferred taxi drivers. Please contact us or ask at reception for details. Taxi's can be booked for trips further afield or car hire is readily available.There are a number of excursions also available which can be booked when you arrive in St. Vlas - alternatively we can arrange bookings for you before you leave for your holidays.
4) How do I get to Bulgaria?
There are flights from many UK and Irish airports both scheduled and chartered. Average flight time is 3 - 3.5 hours.
5) How do I get to/from the airport
We can arrange airport transfers from Bourgas or Varna Airports to take you straight to the resort. Please note transfers are by private hire car/taxi and will go straight to Sun Coast Resort without stopping at any other complexes. Transfer times are just under 30 minutes from Bourgas and just over 60 minutes from Varna.
6) What is Bulgaria like?
Situated in the south eastern Balkan peninsula, Bulgaria has been dealt a generous hand by nature. There is the impressive 230-mile long Black Sea coast with some of the finest blue flag award sandy beaches in Europe. Average summer temperatures on the Black Sea coast are 27°C and there are more than 300 hours of sunshine in high season. Away from the sunny beaches you'll find the magnificent mountain ranges and an amazing cultural heritage to explore.

7) What is St Vlas like
We have personally been holidaying in St Vlas since 2003 and absolutely love it.
The village square provides you with the opportunity to experience local Bulgarian hospitality and the livelier resort of Sunny Beach is easily accessible by Shuttle bus, local bus or taxi.
A new addition to St. Vlas is the beautiful Marina, which is only a five minute stroll away from the Sun Coast Resort.
8) What else is close by?
The large nearby resort of Sunny Beach is a fantastic place for entertainment both day and night. And the old town of Nessebur, a World Heritage site, will definitely conquer you with its antique beauty. With its fine beaches and attractions, Nessebar, Suny Beach, St. Vlas are known as the "Bulgarian Riviera".

St Vlas
St Vlas is a beautiful resort that combines the Balkan mountains with great beaches. St Vlas is an ideal location if you want quiet and peaceful accommodation with all the facilities you need around you, yet close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the livelier and more populated Sunny Beach. St Vlas being a working fishing village also has a town square where you can visit many local bars and restaurants and experience the real Bulgaria.
St Vlas beaches span a total length of around 1km, besides the central beach there are few smaller sandy and pebbly places, dotted around the small bay. Due to its location - spread over the lower end of the Balkan mountain slopes, St Vlas can offer some stunning views over its neighbouring Sunny Beach and Nessebur. St Vlas also benefits from the recent addition of the first purpose built luxury marina on the whole of the
Black Sea Coast.
The village square is a 20 minute walk from the Sun Coast Resort alternatively it easy to travel by shuttle bus or local taxi. The marina and beach are a five minute stroll from the resort.
Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is an 8 km stretch of fine white sand which has been awarded the international Blue Flag award. Sunny Beach is a haven for those who wish to spend lazy days in the sun. Apart from the magnificent beach there is an abundance of shops, bars, disco’s, restaurants and market stalls.
Also on offer are many activities including: surfing, water skis, parachutes, jetsking, hang-gliding , banana boats, sailing, yachts, paddle boats, scooters, rowboats, tennis courts, beach volleyball, play grounds, mini-golf, skittle alley, bowling, riding ground, fitness halls and aqua parks to name but a few!
Sunny Beach is 5km from the Sun Coast Resort and can be reached by shuttle bus, public bus or taxi.
Nessebur
With a history dating back some 2,500 years down the centuries, Nessebur has been linked with many ancient civilisations. It is located on a small peninsula in the Black Sea. The old town is a under a preservation order as a living museum town, housing the remains of some 40 churches from different periods of history. The old town is made up of narrow cobblestone lanes populated by gift shops, taverns and romantic restaurants in which you can sample the delights of Bulgarian cuisine whilst enjoying panoramic views of Sunny Beach and St. Vlas.
Nessebur is 5km from the Sun Coast Resort and can be reached by shuttle bus, public bus or taxi. There is also a sea taxi Sunny Beach (Victoria Palace Hotel) - Nessebur and hopefully for 2007 from the St Vlas marina!
